Mettle Mantra v2 is an amazing new tool from Mettle that opens up a world of 360˚ video control possibilities. The first time I used it, I was in awe of what it allowed me to do. There’s a lot of parameters to play with and it’s really fun to experiment with each new effect – so much so that it’s easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole. It opens up new ways to create unique transitions and videos in spherical environments. Suddenly, the 360˚ footage becomes a fluid, almost fluid, that you can drag, shape, and mold, like an alchemist, to create surreal worlds, dream scenes and alternate reality.
Like Skybox, Mettle Mantra VR is essential for 360-degree video post-production. Mobius Zoom allows zooming and simulated camera movements to increase production value for still images. Mantra’s innovative applications range from reality to illusion, and they empower storytellers to enhance 360º video in innovative ways that have not been possible until now.
