TK9 plugin for Adobe Photoshop Review
The TK9 plugin is the latest release of my comprehensive panel for making luminosity masks and running Photoshop. Like its predecessors, it’s modular, so users can configure it in whatever manner works best in their workspace. The plugin is used worldwide and comes pre-programmed with six common languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Chinese. Users can choose the language they prefer. TK9 works equally well on Windows and Mac computers, including computers running Apple silicon processors, like the Mac M1. Installation is easy. Photoshop 2021 or higher is required to run it.
It is built on Adobe’s UXP architecture and includes most of the features of the TK8 board. Therefore, TK9 works well on Mac M1 computers and should be compatible with future versions of Photoshop. This happens even if Adobe stops supporting CEP panels.

How to install TK8 plugin
- Photoshop needs to be installed first
- Turn off anti-virus software (Note also turn off Windows Defender)
- Download the software and extract it with Winrar
- From the extracted download folder, double-click the .ccx file of the module you
want to install. The Creative Cloud Desktop app should open. (See the
“Troubleshooting” section below if this does not happen or if you get an error
message.) - Click “Install locally” in the “Couldn’t verify plugin” window that opens.
- Click “OK” in the “Install…” window that opens.
- Successful installation will be indicated with a green message in the Creative
Cloud Desktop app.
